We collect only what we need to run the service. We never sell your data or your customers' data to third parties. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and how you can control it.

Who We Are

ZeroMissCall ("we," "us," or "our") is an AI-powered missed call text-back service for plumbing businesses in the United States. We are the data controller for personal information collected through our platform at zeromisscall.com.

What Data We Collect

We collect two categories of data: information you give us directly, and information generated through your use of the Service.

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, health data, or financial account credentials beyond what Stripe handles for billing.

How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect strictly to provide and improve the Service. Specifically:

  • To create and manage your account and business profile
  • To power the AI text-back system on your behalf
  • To send you emergency alerts and conversation notifications
  • To process your subscription payments via Stripe
  • To provide customer support when you contact us
  • To send service-related emails (account updates, billing receipts, security notices)
  • To improve the Service through aggregated, anonymised usage analytics

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your customers' conversation data with any third party for marketing purposes.

Customer Conversation Data

When your customers text back through the ZeroMissCall system, their messages are stored securely and displayed in your dashboard. This data includes the customer's phone number, the content of the SMS conversation, and timestamps.

This data is:

  • Stored securely on our servers and accessible only to you through your dashboard
  • Never shared with third parties for any purpose other than delivering the Service
  • Retained for 12 months from the date of each conversation, then automatically deleted
  • Processed by OpenAI's API to generate AI responses — OpenAI's data handling is governed by their privacy policy

As the business owner, you are responsible for how you use and store any customer information you access through the dashboard. We recommend you review your obligations under applicable privacy and telecommunications laws in your state.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party providers to deliver ZeroMissCall. Each has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

We only share the minimum data necessary for each provider to perform their function. We do not authorise any of these providers to use your data for their own marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active, plus a grace period after cancellation:

  • Account data — retained for 90 days after account cancellation, then deleted
  • Conversation data — retained for 12 months from each conversation date, then automatically deleted
  • Billing records — retained for 7 years as required by US financial regulations
  • Usage logs — retained for 90 days for security and debugging purposes

You can request early deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us at hello@zeromisscall.com. Billing records may be exempt from early deletion where required by law.

Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect it:

  • All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher
  • All data is encrypted at rest in our database
  • Access to production systems is restricted to authorised team members only
  • We use cloud infrastructure with SOC 2 compliance standards
  • Stripe handles all payment data — we never store raw card numbers

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we take every reasonable precaution, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you become aware of any security concern, please contact us immediately at hello@zeromisscall.com.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — request that we correct any inaccurate information
  • Deletion — request that we delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements
  • Export — request an export of your conversation history in a readable format
  • Opt-out — unsubscribe from non-essential marketing communications at any time

Cookies

Our website uses a minimal number of cookies necessary to operate the platform — specifically for session management and authentication when you are logged into your dashboard. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may prevent you from logging into your dashboard.

Children's Privacy

ZeroMissCall is a business service intended for use by adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
